Coronavirus Connections:

An Online Writing Project For Older Adults

Writing is a useful coping strategy, and is also a great way to process our feelings. Writing helps us keep a record of important experiences and gives us space to process how we are impacted by significant events. With the broad-reaching impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, writing can be an especially useful tool to connect and share our thoughts with each other.

Writing prompts will be posted to inspire your thinking and writing. Take time to thoughtfully reflect on the writing prompts. You can keep what you write private or post a response if you want to share your thoughts with others. We hope you will also take the time to read and reflect on others' postings.

Users have the option to attach their name or remain anonymous when posting responses to journal prompts. If you wish to remain anonymous, simply enter an anonymous username (e.g., "Anonymous") each time you post. Submitting your email with a post is optional.

This website is not monitored at all times and is managed by student volunteers. This website is intended to build community and share common experiences with each other. Check back here often, as new prompts will be posted Mondays and Fridays!
